Monday 3:45 AM

Anyone who owns a coonhound knows night, or early morning, is where it’s at for the hunt. A raccoon or coyote must’ve passed by our house at 3:45AM Monday, and there is no sleeping through an urgent hound bay and there’s no sleeping until you go out hunting…
Created with a new to me liquid graphite medium. Not sure how I like it.

Is the liquid graphite hard to work with? Sounds like it. I love the effect of the flashlight giving light to Ellie Mae’s face! Did you find the skunk or raccoon? Koty would love to join you in your hunts! He’s gotten opossum, skunks, rats, mice and recently a fisher cat in our back yard! Holy MOLY!
Liquid graphite might be easier with better paper, but I didn’t like it so much, but I’ll try again.
Darn hound! Luckily she found nothing, but if we’d let her off leash, who knows. She’s had several curfuffles with raccoons and squirrels, (and rats) but luckily no fishers! Icky, scary– very impressive for Koty, the ol’ boy! She treed a fisher with Matthew, but no contact.
Just like Lisa, I love the flashlight effect. The liquid medium may have been difficult, bit I like the texture of the sketch a lot.
Anything about Ellie Mae is good!

Both you and Lisa have convinced me to keep trying the liquid graphite. And yes, Ellie Mae, makes it so easy. Thanks for looking and signing up for emails!
