Illustration Friday—Bicycle
September 19, 2010
An old post from September 19, 2010, but perfect for IF this week (April 22, 2011).
Part two of “Photo Shoot” with a man, his two Jack Russells, and Pooh Bear. I have no idea if he rides a red “bicycle” with fat tires, but I thought how cute it would be for him to strap his Pooh Bear onto the rack and peddle a red “bicycle” with his two best buds running beside him.

Penny – this is great. Looks like you have an entire story being created with the sketches of this guy’s life!
Your sketches are full of happiness.
There is a story with this man! He’s got the most wonderful face and just smiles!
Simply love it.
You’ve captured a moment. Feel like I’m there.
wonderful watercolour.
I like the back view perspective. Something I hadn’t expected or thought of for the topic.
Charming. Glad Pooh doesn’t have a spine… that might hurt.
This is just darling. There is always something interesting one can hitch to a bicycle.
ADORE!!!!! This is wonderful (as usual). I love the story, the slight tilt to the action which livens the piece so much, and the image of a man who takes his Pooh for a ride. I love the colors. You made me smile, again. Hope the holiday weekend was wonderful to you and thanks so much for the WONDERFUL image you shared with me on FB for E’s b-day. It looks uncannily like our Rufus. 🙂
Haha lovely!! I too love the back view perspective of the guy… and the two dogs are just so adorable!
Great perspective, and I love the action of the dogs.
This is so adorable and I love the fact that it’s an adult! We can still have fun and love all our childhood things as well. Great illustration!
