Illustration Friday—Déjà-vu
January 8, 2011
“Déjà-vu”... Haven’t we been here before? Haven’t we thrown that ball a gazillion times? For you, thrower of the ball, it’s the same ol’ same ol’… But for Maggie, chaser-catcher of the ball, each throw is a new, amazing experience even though she’s done it a gazillion times. Some might call that “Déjà vu.”

cute illustration!
Cute, and true!
Lovely work.
There’s no such thing as deja vu for a dog. Each moment is its own moment, and each throw of the ball is the first one.
Great exhausted pup picture!
Oh–and now that I’ve responded, I read the rest of your post, and you were saying exactly the same thing. Sorry….I should read posts before I comment.

OMG! This is toooo adorable!
Nice expressiveness!!! I think it is funny how dogs keep chasing over and over and over and you think they will never tire of it…then out of the blue they just stop and do something else and you feel kind of empty because you want to keep throwing…
Wonderful illo!! Beautifully done.
