With will to stop the madness and fly away, Mary goes round leading an uprising of hooves, horns, tusks and tails! Imagine the “journey” they’re going to have.
I’ve said it before – you break my heart everytime I see your work. It is just so FREAKING AMAZING. I love the gentle hand you have with color and how it plays so well with your amazingly soft pencil work. This is my absolute favorite of yours, yet. The stories within the story you tell are so compelling. Your work is such a gift. You are one of my favorite artists – you never get it wrong.
What a wonderful take on this topic! Love the movement and delicate rendering. Just fabulous. I have to get back on track and post for next week. Thanks for the motivation!
Yeesh! I cannot keep up with you. I feel like a horrible blog buddy.
As for this: WHAT A METAPHOR!!!
Not only is it well drawn (as always) but it really speaks to me. A variety of animals going around and around until one of them breaks free and upward as the rest follow the oppressive cycle. Oh boy.
Well, I must join this group of Penelope Neal fans with a standing ovation for his one! I simply love the colors inserted in the grey of the pencil work…so gorgeous. Encore, encore!
Oh, my goodness–Penelope! I am just so inspired by your art. I feel a kinship with you and your artwork. Your drawings are so fun–the way you see your world is just so…magical. I can hardly put what I feel about your artwork into words. Except to say you are amazing.
Your animals are wonderfully drawn.
Beautiful magic! 🙂
Magical and dreamy! Your animals are amazing and I love how you combine pencil work and color.
Heisann!
This must be a wonderful journey, I would like to go with them … and my bumblebee and cat ;:OD)
Wish you a happy Easter!
