Wow, amazing print. I just love linocut’s!! Very well done, I like the fact that they are front view, facing the viewer. Will crash all right! 🙂

Heisann! A bit more rough than usual – I like it, too!
Good feeling, breaking the frame, the race is merciless… ;:OD)

I love this one, Penelope! My great aunt, one of Oregon’s important artists from the great depression era, did many of these kinds of prints–though more blockish looking. I have no idea how you were able to accomplish such graceful lines on a linocut. You are amazing, my dear. I’m so glad I found you!

Ha! Here I am again, visiting to see what’s new. Today is FATuesday again–I wanted to visit just to let you know one more time, how much I enjoy your work.

I have told everyone I know about you. Your artwork is a joy and a delight to my eyes.

Whoa, that’s awesome Penelope. Very different. I love the thick black. Great work. Is that what Rhinos are called? A Crash? Monkeys are a Troop no?

    Very nice work.

I keep thinking about having a Cintiq. It is eating at me. I neeeeeeeed it. I think I am going to get one this year. . .

Great perspective. I’m a real fan of printmaking, and especially the monotone rough cut linocut/woodblock look.

You do gorgeous line work and I supposed it’s no coincidence that you also do printmaking. I love the power of the linocut.

Saw this work by James Jean which reminded me of your stuff. Except more gruesome and gamy. http://www.jamesjean.com/blog_images/bigfive-sketch_detail.JPG
