Illustration Friday—Gesture

July 16, 2011

It was a “gesture” of love for both…

Sally so loved her Maggie dog and so wanted to share her joy of water and bubbles with her best pal. Maggie, however, hated water and bubbles, but she so loved Sally and would do anything to please her including endure a shower. But, oh, how Maggie silently pleaded for a reprieve from this one “gesture” of love.

    Hi!!
Thank you stopping by! It has been forever indeed! How r you?
I have a project coming up involving animals so i am getting inspired. I tend to draw realistic and am having problem simplifying. (Like Rubin has his realistic and his chibi style)..
Your animals are so fantastic! ALWAYS!
You expressed that love in the pooch’s eyes so wonderfully!

I lived this moment this week. I still don’t understand why my dog isn’t a bit more grateful for her fluffly, clean coat? Darling illustration. Love everything about it, including the flowers on the wall.
