D is for Elephant

December 22, 2011

It’s been forever! Yikes, almost forgot how to post. I took a great typography course this fall—loved the class especially everyone from fellow students to the professor—but it was time consuming and I didn’t have much time to draw. This   elephant was a preliminary sketch for an assignment: illustrate something using one letter in one typeface. I chose “D” and, of course, the heffalump (sans woozle).

Thanks, Rose! It was such a great class and I learned so much from you—I think your last piece was brilliant! Seriously thinking about joining you Tuesdays…
      Happy halfway through Hanukkah. p

This is great too. Just as good as your telepographyant.

It looks like it belongs on a Mayan totem.

    Cheers!
