Ferocious? Ok, a curious zebra might be a stretch, but what you don’t see here is what happens in the next few seconds… Think approaching lion, zebra turns to run, but wait… Boom! It’s a hoof to the head for the lion or a bite on the butt for the zebra. My money’s on the “ferocious” zebras.

He looks very curious, wary and ready. My money is on the zebra!
I love him(or is it a her) Penelope! Really beautiful zebra 🙂
You have such a way with zebras. I love the bit of color on its nose. Love the whimsy in your “boundaries” too. Wonderful stuff! Keep drawing. I love seeing what you’ve been doing.
Oh, my goodness! What a fierce fellow! If I were a predator, I would tangle with this ferocious zebra! (grin) This one fills my eyes–all your work does. You are such an inspiration to me, my Friend.
Perfectly done !
He’s beautiful, behaving ferociously or not!
Oh, man….you are so stink’n talented!!!!! This just ROCKS!
Love the stripe contours! Nice work Penelope! Great expression too :o)
Oooh, Penny, I love this! Such a difficult subject, I’d think, but somehow you make zebras look easy. Especially when you’re doing this without having a ferocious zebra sit and pose! I love how the white stripes bleed into the background, and how the eyes are so clear and the muzzle so velvety. Gorgeous.
OOOOO I LOVE YOUR WORK! Oh how you make me want to really be serious about my art!!! HAVE GREAT DAY! Anita
Gosh, golly! You guys are so wonderful. Truly, I so appreciate all your “atta girl” comments. They mean the world and they keep me going. I try to stop by everyone’s blogs to say hey, thanks, and add my “atta peeps,” but sometimes I’m slow in making the rounds and I’m not always sure if you get them when I write them here… Please know how much it means to me! I know I over use it, but you’re rock stars!
Is sending hugs to all just a bit too personal? ….
Oh, well, hugs to all!
Penny
Once more a great drawing ♥

What a fabulous portfolio/site. I am writing “Kringo, The Little Christmas Tree” about the cycle of life (http://spoolteacher.com/2012/12/23/rudolph-and-kringo-the-little-christmas-tree/), and struggling with illustration. You’re an inspiration.
